Must:
We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. You should have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in failure analysis and system-level testing within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You must be proficient with the Linux Terminal and Bash scripting, with the capability to train others on Linux fundamentals. Intermediate programming skills in both Bash and Python are expected, along with a solid understanding of statistical analysis and its application to data-driven troubleshooting and decision-making. While prior experience in a manufacturing environment is required, preference will be given to those with experience in high-level assembly and hardware integration. A combination of education and experience can be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will engage in hands-on debugging and failure analysis at both the server and rack levels. Specifically, you will carry out system-level debugging across L6, L10, and L12 stages, collaborating closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams. You will leverage structured and data-driven methods to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to enhance First Pass Yield (FPY). Your responsibilities will also include conducting hardware and firmware integration tasks, troubleshooting system failures during Power-On Self-Test (POST), and validating BIOS settings. Additionally, you will perform statistical analyses on test data and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Description

This position involves working on-site at Jabil's production facilities located in Florence, KY. We will provide relocation assistance for applicants residing outside a 50-mile radius. Test Engineers will work in 12-hour shifts, which include several scheduling options. Occasionally, overtime may be required based on business demands. Candidates with a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field will be preferred. You should have a strong proficiency in scripting languages, a keen understanding of networking concepts, and expertise in the integration, diagnostics, and repair of computer and server hardware/software.
