Requirements

Must:
We require candidates to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. You should have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in failure analysis and system-level testing, particularly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with the Linux terminal and Bash scripting is essential, along with intermediate programming skills in Bash and Python. A solid understanding of statistical analysis and its application in data-driven troubleshooting and decision-making is expected. Previous manufacturing experience is mandatory, with a preference for those who have dealt with high-level assembly and hardware integration. We may consider a blend of education and experience on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee system-level debugging and failure analysis for L6, L10, and L12 stages. Your hands-on efforts will include isolating root causes and documenting findings while driving corrective actions in a dynamic and culturally diverse manufacturing environment. You'll interpret diagnostic logs and system health outputs for targeted debugging. Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and firmware integration, configuring BIOS settings, and resolving system failures during Power-On Self-Test (POST). Your responsibilities will also involve using Linux CLI tools and remote access protocols to perform failure analysis, as well as utilizing SQL and Excel for documentation and statistical analysis to improve First Pass Yield (FPY). Lastly, you will engage in scripting and automation tasks using Python, JavaScript, and Bash to enhance our processes.

Description

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you play an essential role in debugging, validating, and analyzing the system-level failures of next-generation server and rack systems. This position requires you to collaborate across various teams including Quality, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering. Success in this position relies on your capacity to apply structured, data-driven methodologies, ultimately driving corrective actions and improving system performance for AI/ML, GPGPU, and hardware accelerator-based platforms. Please note that this role is on-site, supporting our production facilities located in Florence, KY, with relocation assistance available for applicants living outside a 50-mile radius. You will work 12-hour shifts and may need to accommodate occasional overtime based on business demands.
