Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in software test development/sustaining in the manufacturing environment of enterprise servers, storage, or networking products
- Proficient in programming/scripting languages including Python, Java, BASH; experience with C, C++ is an advantage
- Strong Linux development experience, particularly with CentOS and Ubuntu
- Familiarity with hardware and API solutions for the management and stress-testing of L10 devices such as servers and SSDs, including technologies like IPMI, Redfish, and Linpack
- Experience in creating and configuring Virtual Machines (VMs) using VMWare, including DHCP and PXE boot
- Knowledge of advanced networking systems and protocols, including enterprise ethernet datacenter switching and routing
- Experience with version control tools, preferably Git
- Understanding of professional software engineering practices and methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in diverse, multi-site environments
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test systems and processes for manufacturing, including creating test plans and cases to evaluate hardware components
- Create, validate, and maintain automated testing software and scripts
- Provide support for the manufacturing server and test software infrastructure, implementing minor configuration changes as needed
- Assist in the planning and expansion of test infrastructure
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues during manufacturing
- Maintain thorough documentation of testing procedures and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and quality assurance personnel
- Stay informed on advancements in testing technologies and methodologies to enhance manufacturing processes
- Define and collaborate on overarching test infrastructure and application architectures
