Requirements

Must:
- I have substantial experience in technical support or help desk positions with an emphasis on customer service. - I possess strong knowledge of computer management practices, including software troubleshooting and hardware maintenance. - I am familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools. - I understand networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configurations, and network administration. - I have experience with IT support tools like SCCM for software deployment and management. - I am knowledgeable about security protocols related to firewalls and VPNs. - I can effectively use analytical skills to diagnose problems. - I excel in communication, interacting with users in a clear and professional manner. - I can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - I have experience managing mobile devices, which is an advantage.

Responsibilities

- I provide technical support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting and resolving user problems. - I assist with the installation, configuration, and upkeep of computer systems and peripherals. - I manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory. - I support desktop environments, including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. - I troubleshoot network connectivity issues, covering VPN configurations, firewalls, and TCP/IP settings. - I utilize tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira for ticket management and tracking issues. - I perform analysis of system performance and offer recommendations for enhancements. - I help manage IT infrastructure components, including LAN/WAN setups and network administration tasks. - I deliver customer service support by effectively communicating with users to understand their needs and resolve issues promptly. - I maintain documentation of technical processes, procedures, and user guides.

We invite you to join our team as a Help Desk Technician, where your skills will significantly contribute to enhancing our IT services while delivering exceptional support to our users. This is a full-time position with a pay range of $22.81 to $27.47 per hour and expected working hours of 30 to 40 hours per week. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and paid time off. Please note that this role requires in-person work.
