Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in backend software development with proficiency in languages such as C#, Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of web development fundamentals, including RESTful API design, SOAP web services, and data formats like XML/JSON.
- Hands-on experience in database design and management using SQL databases (T-SQL, PL/SQL) or NoSQL options like MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN, and CI/CD practices for automated testing and deployment.
- Knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS or Azure for developing scalable applications.
- Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React or Angular is advantageous for collaborative efforts.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies, utilizing tools like TFS or Jira.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for debugging complex application issues.
- Excellent communication skills to work in tandem with cross-functional teams comprising UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance backend systems utilizing technologies like C#, .NET, Java, Python, and Node.js to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Create and support RESTful APIs and web services that enable efficient communication between front-end applications and backend systems.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate UI components created with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, ensuring seamless application functionality.
- Implement microservices architecture using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure for modular and scalable solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and resolution of issues to uphold high coding standards throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Develop database schemas and refine queries for relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Engage actively in Agile development practices including sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to foster continuous improvement.
