Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Over 2 years of experience in systems engineering or a related technical field, ideally in aerospace or telecommunications
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of clearly articulating information and concepts to others
- Confidence in establishing meaningful relationships with both your manager and team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and demonstrate self-awareness to rectify errors, while being proactive in seeking assistance when necessary
- Eager to explore ways for personal improvement and knowledge acquisition, and enthusiastic about sharing insights with colleagues
- Basic understanding of satellite systems or ground networks (preferred)
- Familiarity with modeling/simulation tools or programming in Python, C++, or Java (preferred)
- Relevant coursework or internship experience in systems engineering or telecommunications (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Support systems engineering activities within the Space & Ground segments under the guidance of senior team members
- Assist in articulating and breaking down system requirements and interfaces
- Aid in preparing documentation for system reviews, including SRRs and PDRs
- Contribute to the documentation for system integration and testing initiatives
- Engage in system analysis and modeling exercises
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to grasp project requirements and assist in technical execution
- Learn to recognize design trade-offs and facilitate system-level decision-making
