Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience
- Over 5 years of pertinent professional experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining environments such as Kubernetes, AWS, OpenStack, and/or Linux
- Basic understanding of system networking to assist the network team and troubleshoot issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of confidently presenting products, analyses, and issues
- Analytical mindset with critical thinking skills for effective decision-making
- Comfortable with upward management, proactive communication, and seeking assistance when necessary
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and a sense of ownership over tasks
- Commitment to continuous self-improvement and learning
Responsibilities
- Independently provide support and maintenance for all Compute, Storage, and AWS Systems across the network, both on-site and remotely
- Administer, maintain, tune, and implement solutions for Development and Production Systems running Redhat OpenStack and Redhat OS
- Involve in the administration, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of multiple Kubernetes environments
- Manage administration, upkeep, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of OpenStack, AWS, Linux, and platform software
- Aid in establishing proper backup processes to ensure complete site and document recovery
- Participate in regular security audits for all Linux systems
- Identify and resolve issues leading to outages, offering effective solutions
- Develop and maintain processes, procedures, and diagrams related to system flows and installations
