Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or similar engineering field
- Familiarity with Agile-based teams
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Java, or similar)
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and basic debugging techniques
- Excellent communication abilities, effectively conveying messages and ideas
- Capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues and be open to constructive feedback
- Innovative thinking for problem-solving, with a readiness to seek assistance when needed
- Adaptability to changing environments and willingness to take on new tasks
- Strong motivation for achieving results
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Skill in prioritizing tasks, self-assessing, and correcting mistakes
- Proactive in seeking personal improvement and willing to share knowledge with teammates
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop and enhance software projects associated with the SDA initiative
- Aid in crafting optimized code for enhanced scalability and performance
- Operate within the Agile/Scrum framework for software development, leveraging Atlassian tools
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of build environments for software products
- Contribute to planning and executing software releases aligned with stakeholder/program schedules and budgets
- Update issue/feature data using Atlassian project tracking tools
- Adhere to Iridium processes such as Change Control, Prioritization, Risk Management, and COTS Management
- Assist in the development of process and procedure documentation materials
- Clearly structure and present data, concepts, and arguments in briefings and written documentation
