Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline
- Over 2 years of experience in software programming and/or support
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Java, or similar)
- Experience working in Agile development teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly
- Capability to build meaningful relationships with managers and team members
- Strong task prioritization and self-correction abilities
- Proactive in seeking personal development and sharing knowledge
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., Mongo)
- Skills in Atlassian tools (Jira, Git, Bitbucket, Crucible, Confluence, GitLab)
- Knowledge of microservices architectures
- Experience with AWS cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to develop and enhance software for the SDA project
- Assist in the creation of optimized code for enhanced scalability and performance
- Operate within the Agile/Scrum framework for software development
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of build environments for software products
- Help plan and execute software releases in line with stakeholder schedules and budgets
- Update issue and feature data using Atlassian project management tools
- Adhere to existing procedures for change control, risk management, COTS management, and software deployment
- Clearly present data and concepts through documentation and briefings
- Address queries from stakeholders within project scope
