Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Cyber Security, or equivalent education and work experience/certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems
- Network and/or Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC)
- Proven expertise with security infrastructure
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of presenting products, analyses, and issues with confidence
- Analytical mindset with critical thinking skills to understand and resolve problems
- Comfortable in managing relationships and proactively communicating needs
- Ability to build rapport and trust with colleagues
- Strong prioritization skills and a sense of ownership over tasks
- Proactive in seeking opportunities for self-improvement and knowledge acquisition
Responsibilities
- Assess, implement, and document security measures for all identified systems and components
- Facilitate efforts necessary to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) certification from government clients
- Document and implement required controls for systems to achieve self-certification in line with 800-171, 800-172, and 800-53 compliance
- Initiate automation to efficiently triage and address security alerts
- Act as an escalation point for security analysts and administrators within the Government Special Services team
- Collaborate with Admins and Engineers across various teams to address and resolve incidents
- Address service requests and incident tickets adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Maintain current IT security elements and manage upgrades, replacements, and new equipment as necessary
- Promote security awareness and ensure that security protocols are effectively implemented
- Create operational reports for Key Performance Indicators and compile weekly and monthly metrics
- Ensure strict adherence to Change Control and Configuration Management processes
- Maintain monitoring systems and conduct site visits to perform scans and gather data from remote locations
