Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field or 10 years of relevant information assurance (IA) experience
- 6 years of relevant IA experience if holding a bachelors degree
- DoD 8570 Information Management (IAM) Level II Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or an equivalent credential
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or an equivalent certification
- Proficient in cloud technologies, including:
- Designing, applying, and configuring various cloud service models (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (e.g., Private, Hybrid, Community)
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code in cloud deployments, selecting and testing security controls for cloud environments
- Evaluating system security and IA requirements per relevant directives and standards
- Creating IA documentation in line with established standards for system certification and operational authority decisions
- Assessing cloud service agreements to ensure alignment with client business and mission goals
- Active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to retain it throughout employment
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and review of comprehensive documentation and products in accordance with DoDI 5000.02
- Facilitate the execution of USAF Airworthiness processes as specified in MIL-HDBK-516 and support AF Life-Cycle Systems Engineering practices
- Aid in the development, allocation, and validation of requirements
- Contribute to the assessment of weapon system designs, analyses, and verification documentation
- Examine equipment and software performance issues and recommend corrective measures
- Participate in the updating and modification of contracts and related documentation
- Provide technical advisory support during source selection processes as needed
