Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles
- Familiarity with Windows Server, including virtualization via Hyper-V
- Knowledge of Hybrid AD Administration, DNS/DHCP concepts, and Microsoft 365 management
- Proficient in remote management and mobile device management solutions
- Understanding of EDR, Antivirus, disaster recovery, firewall settings, and network monitoring
- Expertise in backup strategies and their testing
- Strong diagnostic, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Associates or bachelors degree in a relevant field or recognized certifications plus relevant industry experience
Responsibilities
- Address user-submitted IT support tickets for company-owned or managed systems
- Collaborate with vendors for maintenance of leased hardware
- Maintain, test, and catalog backups for both on-premises and cloud solutions
- Implement firmware, OS, and software updates across physical servers, virtual machines, and clients
- Assess and manage hardware and software vulnerabilities for server and client systems
- Organize and keep updated copies of frequently used software packages
- Maintain notes and standard operating procedures for IT activities, including change-management logs
- Create and update diagrams of the companys hardware and software configurations
- Tag and track hardware, including maintenance logs and data-sanitization records
- Aid in onboarding by procuring and configuring devices, assigning licenses, and setting permissions
- Support the offboarding process by unassigning licenses and ensuring data management for departing users
- Keep an organized inventory of office and field hardware, including end-of-life evaluations and disposals
