Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Over 6 years of experience with Microsoft web technologies in the Visual Studio .NET environment (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
- More than 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting RESTful Web APIs, as well as service-oriented or microservice architectures.
- Practical experience in integrating AI/LLM platforms (preferably Claude) into production systems, including prompt design, orchestration, and implementing safety measures.
- Strong proficiency with Azure services like Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Azure SQL/SQL Server, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- In-depth knowledge of API and web security best practices, such as OAuth2, JWT, secrets management, and data protection.
- Skilled in SQL Server, with the ability to code and debug stored procedures and optimize queries.
- Proven capability to analyze intricate problems, seek out necessary information, and provide effective technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions on architecture with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support .NET and C# applications as well as RESTful Web APIs hosted on Azure to fulfill business objectives.
- Integrate Claude and other AI/LLM services into new and existing applications to facilitate intelligent automation, insights, and tools for team members.
- Create documented architectures, workflows, sequence diagrams, and logical processes for solutions and integrations.
- Provide support and maintenance for existing corporate software applications, including tier III production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure alignment with established system architectures, coding standards, and our software development life cycle and change management processes.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, quality assurance, and system owners to refine requirements and deliver high-quality releases on time.
- Plan and execute project tasks while proactively communicating status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Lead and partake in code reviews, performance tuning, and security evaluations for APIs and backend services.
- Mentor fellow developers, sharing best practices related to .NET, Web API, Azure, and AI integration to enhance overall engineering expertise.
