Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in Jira administration and development, particularly in Jira Cloud
- Strong expertise in JQL and practical experience with Jira ITSM configuration
- Preferred background in Jira on-premise to cloud migration, including workflows and data management
- Familiarity with Atlassian Access and a basic understanding of Active Directory and access controls
- Experience with Jira REST APIs, HTML, and JavaScript for custom development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (CEFR C2 or equivalent), emphasizing documentation and stakeholder engagement
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Jira Software and Jira ITSM projects within the Atlassian Cloud environment
- Develop and enhance JQL queries, workflows, automations, and permissions to optimize business operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable Jira solutions
- Utilize Jira REST APIs and scripting (HTML/JavaScript) for customizations and integrations
- Work with key plugins such as ScriptRunner, JMWE, Email This Issue, and Extension for Jira Service Desk
- Provide clear, well-structured documentation and effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
Description
We are looking for a talented Jira Developer to join our team, supporting and enhancing our Atlassian Jira Cloud environment. This role is focused on maintaining, optimizing, and expanding our Jira Software and IT Service Management. Ideally, the candidate will possess extensive expertise in JQL, Jira administration, and automation, and will work collaboratively with stakeholders. We offer a remote position based in Austin, TX, and encourage individuals who have experience with Jira on-premise to cloud migration to apply.
