Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Graduates Degree in engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
- Over 6 years of relevant DeltaV experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
- Strong Process Automation project and commissioning experience with the DeltaV platform in a Pharma/Biotech environment
- Familiarity with ISA 88, GAMP, and cGAMP standards
- Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Experience in scripting and test automation
- Knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, and SQL software and systems is favorable but not mandatory
- Proactive mentality and natural problem-solving skills
- Ability to mentor, guide, and support fellow team members
Responsibilities
- Manage Software Development within the DeltaV platform
- Conduct and supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning and qualification tasks for DeltaV software and equipment
- Provide support for commissioning and qualification activities at the client location
- Assist in planning, organizing, observing, and overseeing all phases of test automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather appropriate requirements for commissioning and qualification endeavors
- Acquire familiarity with the clients manufacturing DeltaV system standards
- Participate in design and code reviews with functional teams
Description
We are seeking a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our team in Muskegon, MI. This is an onsite contract role where you will play a pivotal part in the commissioning of a DeltaV system while mentoring junior and intermediate engineers. We pride ourselves on a collaborative and communicative work environment, fostering a strong sense of camaraderie. There is potential for ongoing site support beyond the commissioning phase.
