Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of practical experience in ServiceNow development and administration
- Proven capability to work autonomously in complex, highly customized settings
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with AngularJS and Service Portal
- Experience with Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and ETL processes
- Track record of troubleshooting and stabilizing heavily customized instances
- Expert-level knowledge of ITSM and CMDB modules
- High priority expertise in Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Preferred certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the ServiceNow platform alongside the Platform Owner and Lead Administrator
- Conduct a swift evaluation of the existing ServiceNow instance, focusing on customizations, workflows, business rules, and integrations
- Reverse-engineer undocumented settings and create baseline technical documentation
- Address legacy issues and enhance performance after team transitions
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions utilizing Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, and UI Actions
- Build and manage complex integrations via REST/SOAP API with third-party enterprise systems
- Ensure continued health, accuracy, and integrity of the CMDB
- Maintain and improve ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Request
- Provide functional and technical guidance for Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Configure and support Service Portal pages and widgets for an optimal user experience
- Act as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the establishment of a permanent support team
- Mentor and support junior developers and administrators joining our team
