Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in designing and developing reports using IBM Cognos Analytics
- Proficient in end-to-end report testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Skilled in Cognos 11.x; experience with Ab Initio and data modeling is considered a plus
- Strong background with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Expertise in Framework Manager for creating and maintaining metadata models
- Solid understanding of SQL, relational database management, and data warehousing principles
- Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and cloud data environments
- Proven capability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting needs
- Adept at translating business requirements into clear, testable technical specifications
- Committed to maintaining detailed documentation of report logic, data sources, and design decisions
- Quick to onboard and manage deliverables independently with minimal supervision
- Experienced in performance tuning and enhancing report/query efficiency
- Knowledgeable about implementing row-level security in Cognos environments
- Relevant certifications such as IBM Cognos Analytics and Power BI are preferred
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize reports using IBM Cognos Analytics
- Conduct thorough testing of reports and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Maintain meticulous documentation regarding report designs, data sources, and logic

- Implement row-level security measures within Cognos environments as needed
- Utilize Power BI for effective data visualization and reporting tasks
