Calypso application specialist

- Provide support for the Calypso platform, focusing on front-to-back trade processing, including booking, lifecycle management, and validations across various asset classes. - Work in collaboration with Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office teams to ensure smooth trade flows, operational controls, and prompt issue resolution. - Participate in Calypso upgrades, enhancements, and stabilization efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to business functions. - Assist in the configuration and support of trade components, confirmations, settlements, and accounting activities across different asset classes. - Validate trade lifecycle events and corresponding data across systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to business rules and regulatory standards. - Offer subject-matter expertise on Collateral Management workflows and integrations with both internal and external systems. - Apply ISDA SIMM methodologies for margining, risk assessment, and collateral calculations as necessary. - Engage actively in Agile delivery processes, including story refinement, sprint planning, and iterative deliveries. - Support testing efforts, including functional validations, regression scenarios, and user acceptance testing. - Utilize Calypso Automation Test Tool (CATT) for automated validation and testing tasks where applicable.
