Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficient in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with Django and Django REST Framework
- Proven ability in using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Proficient in SQL and experience with at least one relational database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities, with capacity to convey technical concepts clearly
- Collaborative and proactive development style
- Capability to thrive in an agile development setting
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain robust and high-performance backend services and APIs using Python and the Django REST Framework
- Utilize Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability of our backend services
- Design, optimize, and engage with relational and/or NoSQL databases to support application capabilities
- Create and document clean, well-structured, and efficient APIs for front-end developers and other internal services
- Conduct thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to uphold code quality and system stability
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to turn business requirements into technical solutions
