Requirements
Must:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required, preferably in business.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a Business Analyst on technology and process enhancement projects; at least 1 year of experience mentoring and guiding other business analysts; and at least 1 year in facilitating sessions for business requirements gathering.
- Strong understanding of Business Analysis methods and practices, with direct experience in developing and applying Business Analysis templates and tools.
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies/frameworks.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt, prioritize multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, along with sound judgment for decision-making based on timely and accurate analyses.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Experience creating process flow diagrams in collaboration with business discussions; proficiency in Visio is essential.
- Experience in Finance, Sales, and/or Customer Service sectors is preferred.
- Required proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the business analysis practice at IWS, including processes, tools, templates, and methods.
- Facilitate work sessions with business stakeholders to define and document current and future state process maps.
- Organize and lead work sessions to gather, elaborate on, and document business and data requirements for new processes, tools, and technologies.
- Document journey maps, personas, business requirements for projects and enhancements.
- Define and document the work breakdown structure for business analysis and testing activities on various projects.
- Participate in evaluating and selecting third-party vendors and technologies to support business functions.
- Contribute to testing efforts related to new processes, tools, and technologies to ensure business requirements are met.
- Analyze and synthesize data, research, and other information into effective presentations.
- Identify and document opportunities for continuous improvement and develop solutions involving process, responsibility, and system changes, as well as data correction activities.
- Collaborate with functional leads to implement changes, track outcomes, and report on progress.
- Facilitate communication and ensure alignment on goals across different teams.
- Evolve into a Subject Matter Expert for assigned functions, processes, or new applications.
- Evaluate current training methods and materials for your team, recommending enhancements and creating training as necessary.
- Conduct profiling and analysis of data from source systems and aid in mapping into destination systems.
- Support quality assurance and control efforts by utilizing data analysis as part of pre- and post-implementation reviews for projects.
- Perform additional job-related duties as needed.
