Systems Engineer - Cloud and DevOps

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT - Background in customer environments - Strong customer relationship management skills - Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting - Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities - Capable of multitasking in a dynamic pace - Proficient troubleshooting skills for various technical issues - Capacity to work independently and take initiative - Organizational and coaching abilities - Experience with remote access tools, such as Screen Connect, is advantageous - Skills to automate tasks and assess their efficiency - Familiarity with Microsoft Office products - Eagerness to learn ConnectWise PSA - Commitment to maintaining thorough technical documentation - Solid foundation in network administration and architecture - Comprehension of communication protocols (especially TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) - Preferred certifications (A+, MCTS, VTSP, CCENT, or CCNA) - Skilled in designing and deploying functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN) - Experience in installing and configuring networking hardware - Proficient in router, switch, wireless, and firewall configurations - Competence in designing firewall configurations that involve NAT, PNAT, ACL, and content/application policies - Knowledge of wireless configuration, including SSID and authentication methods like LDAP, RADIUS - Expertise in configuring VLANs and managing network segregation - Suggested improvements for network efficiency, capacity, and scalability - Familiarity with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools - Capability to monitor network performance and reliability - Experience conducting regular performance assessments - Skillful in creating and implementing network security measures - Proficiency in handling server 2016+ design, build, maintenance, and management - Aptitude for creating and deploying physical and virtual server infrastructure - Experience with Lights-Out Management and Lifecycle Management using iDrac or similar tools - Understanding of Hyper-V, VMware, Failover Clusters, and HA Environments - Proficiency in Active Directory administration and management of primary server roles (DNS, DHCP, Print, File) - Familiarity with designing and managing Disaster Recovery Solutions and Infrastructure - Capability to oversee Office 365, Azure, and Entra ID administration - Knowledge of managing Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams - Understanding of security authentication methods like MFA, TOTP, SSO, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust - Strong grasp of virus and malware detection and removal techniques - Ability to establish, manage, and test security protocols (e.g., access controls and disaster recovery) - Experience in Windows 10/11 design, build, maintenance, and management - Proficient in managing Local, Active Directory, and Entra ID joined devices - Skills in managing profiles, migration, and software troubleshooting - Experience in installation and configuration of modern applications
