Senior SOC Analyst

- Monitor computer networks for security threats - Investigate cybersecurity incidents and security breaches - Document security breaches and evaluate the associated impact - Collaborate with the security team to conduct testing and identify network vulnerabilities, including penetration testing - Address and rectify detected vulnerabilities to uphold security standards - Recommend IT security best practices - Implement security measures and manage software to safeguard systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and encryption programs - Conduct analysis to verify intrusion alerts and create forensically sound copies of files - Decrypt data and provide detailed technical summaries - Analyze recovered data for pertinent information and perform dynamic analysis such as timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis - Execute real-time cyber defense tasks to support Incident Response Teams (IRTs)
