Mid-level SOC analyst

- Monitor computer networks for potential security threats - Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents - Document breaches and evaluate damage caused - Collaborate with the security team to conduct vulnerability assessments, including penetration tests - Address identified vulnerabilities to uphold security standards - Recommend IT security best practices - Install security measures and software to safeguard systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and encryption programs - Conduct analyses to confirm intrusion details and create forensically sound copies of relevant files - Decrypt data and produce technical summaries and insights - Review recovered data for pertinent information and execute dynamic analyses, including timeline, statistical, and file signature assessments - Carry out real-time cyber defense operations to assist deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).
