Requirements
Must:
- Degree or major in Computer Science preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Experience with Cardiology IT applications such as Syngo Dynamics, MUSE, ISCV
- Knowledge of Networking in a TCP/IP environment
- Provides Tier 3 Applications Support
- Experience with Cloud Services like AWS and Azure
- Familiarity with Cardiology-specific Artificial Intelligence
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
- Three to five years of relevant work experience
- Three to five years of experience in the Clinical IT space
- Knowledge of operating systems and databases, including Microsoft Windows, UNIX, Oracle, and SQL
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, HTML, or Python
- Understanding of health and imaging protocols and applications like HL7 protocol, DICOM, and EPIC
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, enhancement, and maintenance of relevant systems
- Monitor system performance and response times
- Generate reports for management and users when necessary
- Take a proactive approach in preventing system issues
- Diagnose and resolve problems as they arise
- Support Cardiology systems applications and operational interfaces
- Conduct problem analysis and troubleshooting while maintaining documentation
- Provide technical development, testing, and implement changes to support scripts or modifications
- Develop test plans, test data, and schedules for testing
- Execute unit and system tests to verify technology solutions
- Conduct application testing including test script compilation
- Offer business-related and technical guidance to IS staff
- Provide technical assistance to colleagues as required
- Support relevant departmental systems and software products for clinical and operational clients
- Create, update, and manage project plans along with documentation
- Design, configure, and install new programs or enhancements to existing systems
- Analyze modifications to assess their impact on existing systems
- Engage in user committees to determine new project needs
- Devise innovative strategies to meet customer requirements aligned with information services goals
- Analyze business needs, document requirements, and modify existing system logic as needed
- Train end users on equipment and software use
- Manage timely installation and performance of in-house and vendor updates following IS standards
- Participate in various phases of systems and technical analysis while considering business implications
- Possibly offer telecommunications expertise and support
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all specified systems
- Research, plan, and design system interfaces to meet hospital clinical and business needs
- Develop, test, document, and implement changes to existing interfaces and support scripts
- Clearly track and document assigned projects and communicate plans to stakeholders
- Perform project management duties as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their needs
- Coordinate application developments and migrations with multiple teams
- Provide after-hours support as needed in a 24/7 operational environment
- Fulfill other job-related duties as required
