Requirements
Must:
- Top Secret Clearance with the capability to pass CI Poly upon hire
- DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher)
- Typically requires a BS degree and 8 - 12 years of relevant experience, or a masters with 6 - 10 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in AWS/Cloud technologies
- Advanced experience in Linux administration, specifically with RHEL 7 or higher
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server
- Familiarity with Systems, Architectural, Software Development, and Software Sustainment Practices
- Proficient in Windows administration
- Self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude and exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively
- Keen attention to detail
- Clear and efficient communicator with team members and clients, both verbally and in writing
- Capability to present concepts tailored to different audiences
- Experience with ArcGIS/ESRI automation and deployments
- Understanding of RDS and SQL Technology
- Valid AWS Solutions Architect and/or AWS Developer certifications
- Experience with IC Cloud Architecture implementation methodologies
- Proficient with team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat)
- In-depth knowledge of NiFi Apache, Python machine learning algorithms, and experience in unstructured text parsing, as well as Tomcat.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a mission operations team on the sustainment and operations of cloud-deployed geospatial solutions
- Overseeing the installation, configuration, administration, support, and maintenance of cloud-based systems
- Ensuring compliance with security and operational standards
- Utilizing AWS/Cloud technologies to enhance system performance
- Administering Linux systems, specifically RHEL 7 or higher
- Managing Microsoft Windows Server environments
- Engaging with systems architecture and software development practices
- Executing Windows administration duties
- Demonstrating proactive problem-solving and communicating effectively within the team and with clients
- Prioritizing tasks to ensure all work meets established quality standards
- Participating in team collaboration, using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Implementing automation processes using ArcGIS/ESRI tools and managing deployments
- Leveraging RDS and SQL technology knowledge to support project needs
- Applying machine learning and orchestration software to streamline processes.
