Requirements
Must:
- Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 2-3 years of recent experience working with Kubernetes infrastructure, preferably OpenShift or EKS.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Docker containers.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Demonstrated ability to manage Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with custom code development and code reviews.
- Experience with GitLab functionalities, error codes, and scripting.
- Knowledge of AWS services/technologies, including CloudFormation, S3, and ECS.
- Experience with AWS Serverless architectures such as Lambda and API Gateway.
- Proven experience in supporting development testing.
- Understanding of cloud-based architectures and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Skilled in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledgeable in software development and sustainment practices.
- Familiar with team collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and RocketChat.
- Must hold a CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a masters degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Automate manual procedures currently being executed manually and maintain new processes as developed by the CAAT.
- Create Windows automation scripts using Python and/or Microsoft PowerShell when appropriate.
- Support the deployment of microservices through a DevSecOps pipeline in a multi-tenant environment that includes both Windows and Linux.
- Develop, update, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline code.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers effectively.
- Review existing code within Git and create/modify engineering documentation as required.
- Assist with Developer deployments and offer technical guidance for all capabilities/microservices.
- Facilitate Developer testing in the environment and create and maintain DevOps documentation.
- Perform security remediation as necessary based on scan results.
