Requirements
Must:
- Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude and strong oral and written communication skills.
- 2-3 years of recent experience working with Kubernetes infrastructure, preferably with OpenShift or EKS.
- 2-3 years of recent experience utilizing Docker containers.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Demonstrated experience managing both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of custom code development and code reviews.
- Experience with GitLab functionality, error handling, and scripting.
- Familiarity with AWS services and technologies (e.g., CloudFormation, S3, ECS).
- Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Load Balancing, Autoscaling).
- Background in supporting development testing and cloud-based architectures.
- Understanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflows.
- Experience in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Software Development and Sustainment Practices.
- Familiarity with team collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, RocketChat).
- Must possess a CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Typically requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Automate existing manual processes and oversee new operational procedures as developed by the CAAT.
- Create Windows automation using Python and/or Microsoft PowerShell as required.
- Support the deployment of microservices through a DevSecOps pipeline in both Windows and Linux multi-tenant environments.
- Develop, enhance, and manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline code.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers effectively.
- Review code within Git and generate engineering documentation as necessary.
- Aid in Developer deployments and offer technical guidance for all capabilities and microservices.
- Facilitate Developer testing within the environment and create and maintain DevOps documentation.
- Conduct necessary security remediation stemming from scans.
