Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years experience supporting security systems, sensor systems, or industrial control systems
- Proficient troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with low-voltage systems, communications networks, or electronic security systems
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to convey technical concepts to customers and field personnel
- Preferred: Experience with perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS)
- Preferred: Background in critical infrastructure, defence, corrections, or industrial security environments
- Preferred: Technical background in electrical engineering, electronics, or security systems
Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical support contact for ISC clients
- Offer troubleshooting assistance for deployed perimeter detection systems
- Identify and resolve system performance issues across sensors, processors, power, and communications infrastructure
- Provide remote and on-site technical support as necessary
- Oversee ISCs system maintenance and certification program for implemented systems
- Organize and conduct annual system health evaluations, inspections, and performance assessments
- Aid in sensor calibration, environmental adjustments, and firmware updates
- Educate and train site personnel on effective system use and troubleshooting strategies
- Collaborate with ISC leadership to pinpoint system enhancements based on field insights
- Contribute to R&D projects focusing on sensor performance, detection enhancement, and system design
- Assist in testing and validating new product features and upgrades
- Help develop documentation, system standards, and technical best practices
