Requirements
Must:
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data and converged network infrastructure
- Proficiency in Cabling, Routing Protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP, Wireless LAN, SAN, Load Balancers, VPNs, Firewalls, and other network technologies for a large corporate environment
- In-depth understanding of Cisco IOS, NXOS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, FCOE, and FC environments
- Practical experience with Datacenter Virtualization technologies and Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K, 2K, 9000 series equipment
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of Cisco ASR 9000, 3900 ISR UC routers and Catalyst 4500, 3500, 3600, 2900 switching environments
- Expertise in deploying and managing wide area networks, emphasizing IPsec, VPN, and MPLS transport with various access technologies such as DS1/T1, E1, DS3, OC3, OC12, and Metro Ethernet
- Skilled in IP traffic flow, protocol analysis, and capturing and monitoring live traffic streams
- Strong familiarity with Cisco UCS environments and VMware integration
- Experience with Cisco UCM and VOIP technologies is a bonus
- Preferably hold CCNP data center, CCNP routing/switching, and CISSP certifications
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, consult, and provide leadership for network LAN/WAN infrastructure primarily based on Cisco equipment
- Serve as a reliable partner in deploying the data network infrastructure to enhance business operations and improve customer satisfaction
- Integrate design for intricate, cross-functional systems and guide technical design reviews for various infrastructure initiatives
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze business and technical requirements from key stakeholders
- Recommend suitable technological designs and solutions that meet business needs while aligning with the companys technical strategy
- Lead the execution of specific network solutions, including requirements analysis, proposal preparation, supplier evaluations, tool selection, and planning for implementation
- Develop LAN/WAN architectures, conduct network traffic analyses, anticipate LAN bandwidth requirements, and propose modifications to network configurations to reduce costs, ensure compliance, and enhance service delivery
