Senior Acquisition Business Analyst

- A minimum of 15 years of experience in acquisition management and planning within DoD or similar environments - Previous assignment with an operational unit or a Headquarters Staff organization (or equivalent) - Proven expertise in formulating acquisition strategies and supporting source selections - In-depth knowledge of USSF policy, doctrine, and the relationships among combatant commands and services - Familiarity with congressional affairs and the interagency process - Understanding of DoD contracting, budgeting, and financial management principles - Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Comprehensive understanding of ACAT I-III program management and milestone decision processes (from pre-Milestone A to Milestone C) - Prior experience as a senior advisor or evaluator on at least one source selection is advantageous - Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA in program or portfolio management contexts is preferred - Preferred certifications include DAWIA/APDP Program Management Level III, PMP, and/or PgMP - Experienced in Pentagon or major headquarters operations is an asset - Prior exposure to Overhead Persistent Infrared, Missile Warning, Nuclear Detection, and Missile Defense is desired - Bachelors degree in science, business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, or a related field is required - A Masters degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., systems engineering, software engineering) is highly preferred
