Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of nine (9) years in government acquisition, finance, program management, or a related field within a DoD organization
- At least five (5) years of experience in DoD Space
- Strong understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles, applicable even in non-EVM settings
- Preferred experience or certification in Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR)
- Familiarity with data visualization, dashboards, and decision-support tools, especially Power BI
- Bachelors degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
- Apply EVM principles to evaluate cost, schedule, and performance data in a non-EVM context
- Review and analyze acquisition planning documents for compliance with SSCI 63-107 EVM standards
- Use visualization tools like Power BI to present analysis and trends to stakeholders
- Draft and prepare acquisition report contributions reflecting cost, schedule, and performance insights
- Assess contractor deliverables for accuracy and consistency with program objectives
- Evaluate cost, schedule, and risk performance using various assessment metrics
- Identify program risks and their potential impacts on cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Conduct comprehensive Estimates at Completion (EACs) with confidence levels and forecasts
- Apply methodologies from the GAO Cost Estimating & Assessment Guide for predictive forecasting
- Provide support to a government financial office as needed
