Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Familiarity with Microsoft .NET technologies and SQL Server
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans
- Experience with automated testing tools and scripting
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
Responsibilities
- Establish a formal quality assurance process for in-house developed software
- Select and implement appropriate QA tools and methods
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical designs
- Develop detailed and structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, and arrange testing operations
- Create, refine, and run automation scripts
- Monitor and document QA metrics
- Conduct regression testing after bug fixes
- Collaborate with developers, technical managers, and business users to gather system requirements
- Investigate and troubleshoot non-compliant software issues
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance/Testing Engineer to spearhead the establishment of a comprehensive QA program that supports all our software development initiatives. Our major applications utilize Microsoft .NET technologies with a backend powered by Microsoft SQL Server, including a large-scale custom application consisting of millions of lines of code. This role offers a unique opportunity to formalize our quality assurance and testing processes for all software developed in-house, contributing directly to our commitment to excellence in software quality.
