Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience as a PC/computer technician or in a comparable position
- Proficient in troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks
- Strong understanding of computer systems and IT components
- Experience in a large-scale enterprise IT setting
- Skilled in remote troubleshooting for laptops and iPhones with a solid grasp of internet security and data privacy protocols
- Background in printer support, particularly with HP printers
- Outstanding troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- (Nice to Have) BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- (Nice to Have) Relevant certifications like CompTIA A+ are a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support during the Windows 11 upgrade for a major hospital system
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues reported by staff
- Manage and maintain effective communication with users regarding their technical problems
- Assist in remote troubleshooting tasks for laptops and iPhones
- Support network connectivity and printer issues as necessary
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards within the IT environment
