Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in graphic design, UX/UI design, computer science, marketing, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, InVision)
- Knowledge of web design best practices (responsive design, accessibility, etc.)
- Strong skills in typography, color theory, and visual communication (portfolio required)
- Adept in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related libraries; able to code independently
- Exceptional communication skills for conveying design vision to developers and stakeholders
- Strong technical aptitude for learning enterprise systems and departmental tools
- Analytical skills for managing projects and resolving web-related issues
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks amidst distractions and varying workloads
- Experience with user testing and data analysis for design evaluation
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, and Cascade
- Capability in WordPress theme customization and plugin management
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for marketing web products
- Design visually appealing and functional web pages while adhering to best practices
- Make front-end code modifications to ensure a smooth user experience
- Implement responsive web design with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks
- Debug and refine front-end code for optimal performance and accessibility
- Collaborate with in-house developers to provide design mockups and effective communication
- Follow brand guidelines to create cohesive visual solutions for digital assets
- Analyze user behavior to design suitable UI solutions
- Coordinate with management on project priorities and schedules
- Serve as the UX/UI design expert in team meetings, providing insights and education
