Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of one year of college-level teaching experience or industry experience in information technology
- At least two years of college-level teaching experience preferred
- Minimum of five years of industry experience in information technology, especially in networking and cybersecurity preferred
- Demonstrated ability to teach information technology and introductory programming courses
- Commitment to scholarly growth and professional development
- Experience working with diverse populations
Responsibilities
- Teach 12 credit hours of courses per semester in information technology and related subjects
- Advise and support students in their academic journeys
- Contribute significantly to teaching, curriculum development, and departmental service
- Conduct classes in various modalities, including in-person instruction
- Engage in ongoing scholarly research to meet tenure requirements
- Participate in performance reviews based on teaching effectiveness and professional responsibilities
