Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field required
- 3-5 years of experience in IT mandated
- Proficiency in MS-SQL Administration
- Strong analytical skills for logical application approaches
- In-depth knowledge of Windows-based enterprise operating systems and associated network services
- Familiarity with ADFS and integration techniques for identity management in Azure AD
- Experience with integrating third-party applications with Azure Intra ID SSO and MS-SQL database management
- Understanding of PowerShell scripting and Python
- Knowledge of hybrid IT infrastructure and Azure SQL database provisioning
- Experience with Hyper-V and SAN technologies, database design, and information retrieval methods
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint Administration (both on-premise and online) and Azure infrastructure management
- Awareness of SAS, SAP BO, PBIRS, and reporting solutions, and POS systems integration
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies
- Above-average communication skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and support of Windows servers and database functionalities
- Administer and support data exchanges between enterprise systems, contributing to the development and functionality of these integrations
- Conduct pre-installation duties for purchased software and vendor releases, establish software standards, manage capacity planning, and allocate system resources for institutional products
- Ensure the security and integrity of all operating system software and related applications, analyze production issues, and recommend operational enhancements
- Manage all MS-SQL databases connected to the colleges business systems, executing full DBA functions and maintaining database permissions
- Oversee cloud-based identity and access management services, including ADFS, Azure Entra ID SSO, and integration with all other systems at the college
- Provide administration and operational support for the college bookstore point-of-sale system, SAS application, and business intelligence and reporting systems
- Engage in learning college concepts to foster programs and activities that advance student success and lifelong learning
