Library Access and User Services Specialist

- Oversee and support daily operations of the library, ensuring excellent customer service - Supervise and assign tasks to student employees, providing training in library systems and processes - Deliver various patron services, facilitating access to library materials and maintaining adherence to library policies - Assist patrons with technology usage and troubleshooting requests - Manage opening and closing duties of the library with student assistance - Maintain and update patron data in our integrated library system to ensure accuracy - Coordinate stacks maintenance and observe classification systems for organized shelving - Identify library materials requiring repair or restricted access - Assist with the upkeep of specialized equipment and place service requests as necessary - Ensure a safe library environment by addressing potential security issues promptly and exercising good judgment
