Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with standard desktop and laptop systems, peripherals, and operating systems
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking for wired and wireless connections
- Basic knowledge of productivity and security software applications
- Ability to contribute to the design and evaluation of technical processes
- Consistently meet objectives and deadlines
- Demonstrated reliability in completing routine tasks and requests
- Proficiency in documenting client interactions and tasks in a ticketing system
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical support for desktops, laptops, and classrooms
- Anticipate and address the support needs of faculty and staff
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with faculty and staff
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive support coverage
- Participate in helpdesk operations Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM
- Share insights and contribute to process improvements within the team
- Attend departmental meetings and engage in college activities
- Maintain professionalism and clear communication with clients and colleagues
- Propose strategies for operational enhancements in accordance with supervisor guidance
