Requirements
Must:
- Masters Degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field
- Minimum of one year of teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand and respond to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds
- Preferably three years of industry-related experience
- Preferably one year of college-level teaching experience
- Preferred industry-recognized IT/Cybersecurity certifications
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of courses in Cybersecurity and Computer Information Systems
- Conduct 15 contact hours and a minimum of five office hours each week
- Update and develop courses, curricula, and assessment methods
- Provide academic and career advising to students
- Assign work to hourly employees
- Assist in maintaining and upgrading Cybersecurity labs
- Support curriculum marketing and recruitment initiatives
- Participate in departmental, school-wide, and college-wide committees and events
- Stay informed about technological, industry, and higher education trends
- Engage in professional development activities and maintain industry certifications
