Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in Drafting Technology (equivalent relevant experience may substitute on a yearly basis)
- Minimum of five years of increasingly responsible drafting experience with a focus on architecture or an equivalent role, including three years of experience as a systems administrator
- Proficient knowledge of CAD and BIM software along with database management software
- Strong understanding of architectural design and construction norms, building codes, ADA standards, and jurisdictional requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Capacity to establish and maintain accessible electronic filing systems
- Basic desktop support abilities with skills in importing and exporting files between systems
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Critical thinking aptitude to analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve computer system issues
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction products
- Experience managing software subscriptions, installations, and troubleshooting issues
Responsibilities
- Administer systems, standards, and outputs related to CAD, BIM, and project management software for design and construction projects
- Create, modify, organize, and maintain program documents and drawings in CAD/BIM
- Upload and download document and drawing files to and from program software and cloud storage services
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish standards for document management
- Organize and oversee the inventory of all electronic drawings by project and campus
- Provide assistance to users with campus, building, and site information
- Function as a system administrator for both CAD/BIM software and potentially project management applications
- Install, configure, and maintain program-specific software and troubleshoot issues
- Coordinate the collection and sharing of information related to projects using maintenance and project management software
- Create and maintain various maps and visual representations of college properties
- Support management with graphical information and reports for project analysis
