Requirements
Must:
- We require strong hands-on experience with Teradata 16.x, including SQL and BTEQ scripting.
- We are looking for proficiency in TPT, Informatica 10.x, UNIX shell scripting, Autosys, and Cloudera CDP.
- We expect solid experience with Hadoop technologies such as Hive, Impala, PySpark, and Scala.
- We need a strong background in data analysis, data sourcing, data modeling, and data provisioning.
- We require experience with database-intensive development, migrations, and conversions.
- We are looking for knowledge of SQL performance tuning and optimization.
- We need someone who can work across design, build, and hands-on development while coordinating activities in a distributed environment.
- We expect the ability to engage business stakeholders and gather requirements effectively.
- We require experience working in SDLC, Agile, CI/CD, and change management environments.
- We prefer familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
- We need strong Unix knowledge and the ability to develop shell scripts.
- We value business knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes domains.
- We expect excellent communication and active listening skills.
- We require experience developing software in an Agile environment.
- This position is available only to candidates who can work on a W-2 basis.
Responsibilities
- We develop and support Teradata-based solutions for large-scale AML monitoring and surveillance data assets.
- We perform database-focused development, including data migrations and conversions.
- We build and maintain SQL and BTEQ scripts, along with related ETL processes.
- We work with Informatica, Hadoop, PySpark, Scala, and Unix shell scripting as part of the development stack.
- We collaborate with business stakeholders to uncover requirements and refine solution needs.
- We participate in design and build activities while also contributing directly as hands-on developers.
- We coordinate development efforts across distributed teams and environments.
- We tune SQL for performance and help improve database efficiency.
- We support Agile delivery practices and follow SDLC and CI/CD processes.
- We use tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible to manage delivery and change control.
- We contribute subject matter insight related to Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes when applicable.
