Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree in electrical engineering (EE, EET, or ECE) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; OR a bachelors degree in electrical engineering (EE, EET, or ECE) with at least 4 years of pertinent experience; OR a graduate/masters degree in electrical engineering (EE, EET, or ECE) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in FPGAs and VHDL design with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in:
- ModelSim/Questa or similar logic simulation tools
- MATLAB/Simulink
- Standard streaming and memory-mapped interfaces (Avalon, AMBA, etc.)
- FPGA vendor tools (Microchip, Intel/Altera, AMD/Xilinx)
Responsibilities
- Participate in product development initiatives.
- Design, implement, verify, and integrate VHDL components.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Engage in VHDL peer review processes.
- Analyze component synthesis, timing, and clock domain crossings.
- Deliver technical presentations, including internal design assessments.
