Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in Core Java and design techniques
- Proven experience in large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructures for large-scale applications
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, Microservices, API, and AWS with a significant focus on Microservices
- Experience with high-volume applications, particularly within equities teams
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD)
- Leadership skills to mentor junior team members upon transition to full-time employment
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a preference for candidates with financial services experience
- FIX protocol experience highly advantageous, but financial services experience is essential
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications within a FIX environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and promote best practices
- Utilize CICD methodologies to optimize processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure continuous service improvement
