Requirements

Must:
We seek candidates with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on IT technical experience, including at least 5 years in a cybersecurity role focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Just-In-Time (JIT) access, and cybersecurity detection, protection, and response. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python is essential, along with familiarity with third-party IAM/PAM applications and risk mitigation strategies. A solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, Defense in Depth strategies, and security operations tools (e.g., SIEM, EPM, DLP, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, WAFs, and antivirus solutions) is required. Candidates should also be knowledgeable about identifying indicators of compromise and indicators of attack, the Mitre ATT&CK, and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks. Experience with various computer operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, and Linux is necessary. A Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or a similar technical area from an accredited institution is mandatory. Alternatively, four additional years of relevant cybersecurity work experience may substitute the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

In this senior-level role, I will guide you as a Security Operations Engineer III - IAM under the direction of the Manager of Information Security Operations. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain identity and privilege access management systems and processes. You will serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, engineering, implementing, supporting, and maintaining cybersecurity solutions to bolster our organization’s cybersecurity and information security programs. Your duties will include monitoring security tools, responding to incidents, and automating response activities to prevent or limit the impact of security incidents. Additionally, you will maintain documentation related to policies, standards, and procedures, mentor team members, and provide consultative services to teams and stakeholders to enhance their security posture.
