Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Senior ABAP Developer with S/4 HANA expertise
- Proficient programming skills with practical experience in S4H conversion
- Familiarity with code remediation processes
- Capability to conduct custom code impact assessments focused on interfaces
- Ability to suggest and evaluate various custom code adaptation strategies, and recommend optimal solutions
- Strong comprehension of integration patterns, methods, and protocols
- Experienced in designing and developing reusable and configurable APIs/interfaces
- Understanding of test automation principles, with a track record of participating in projects with robust test automation cultures
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and performance optimization techniques in SAP environments
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ABAP code with a focus on S/4 HANA
- Conduct thorough code remediation and impact analysis for custom code
- Propose and test various approaches for custom code adaptation
- Collaborate with team members on various integration patterns and techniques
- Design and create APIs and interfaces emphasizing configurability and reusability
- Participate in test automation efforts and uphold best practices
- Ensure secure programming standards and performance optimization in all developments
- Work closely with project teams onsite in Austin, TX for effective collaboration
