Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Enterprise Java 8 and 17
- At least 3 years of experience in Project Management
- Proficiency in Core Java / J2EE fundamentals
- Strong analytical skills with effective problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in managing offshore teams
- Familiarity with web services is advantageous
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum
- Proven ability to manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Experience delivering projects on or under budget and on time
- Exposure to Union Pacific development is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers in delivering software solutions
- Oversee project management tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Manage offshore development teams to maintain project efficiency
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions accordingly
- Implement and maintain web services for application functionalities
- Ensure projects adhere to budget constraints and timelines
- Uphold rigorous testing and quality assurance processes across all deliverables
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and practices within the team
