Requirements
Must:
- U.S. citizenship required (clear background check); holders of active TS/SCI security clearance preferred
- Extensive knowledge of PKI and security concepts, with significant experience in administering and configuring PKI software on Windows and Linux
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to identify and resolve hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with hardware security modules (HSMs)
- Administrative experience with Apache Tomcat and/or Red Hat JBoss, including troubleshooting TLS issues
- Knowledge of database configuration/management with Oracle, HSQL, or PostgreSQL
- Practical experience with Windows and Linux administration in STIGd environments
- Familiarity with current ISC products is a distinct advantage
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-sales support for various PKI software projects through phone, email, web, and on-site interactions as necessary
- Regularly engage with customers to assist them in configuring, deploying, and supporting ISC products
- Support customers in integrating ISC software into their existing systems and ensure compatibility with third-party software and devices
- Take part in gathering requirements, the design process, product evaluations, and deployment activities
- Collaborate closely with support and development teams to align on and fulfill customer expectations
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues as they arise
- Offer solutions to a variety of technical challenges of differing complexities
- Document procedures to address commonly encountered issues
Description
We are ISC, located in the Washington metropolitan area, seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer - PKI to join our team. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule, allowing for flexibility between working from home and customer sites.
