Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Over 3 years of practical experience in Android development
- In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, and contemporary Android architecture components like MVVM, Live Data, View Model, and Jetpack
- Experience with RESTful APIs for integrating Android applications with back-end services
- Understanding of cloud messaging APIs and push notifications
- Experience with offline data storage, threading, and optimizing performance
- Strong proficiency in version control tools, particularly Git
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions (preferred)
- Experience with A/B testing and feature flags (preferred)
- Knowledge of testing frameworks, such as JUnit and Espresso (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Integrate APIs to connect mobile applications with back-end services
- Identify and fix bugs to enhance application functionality
- Implement modern Android architectural patterns
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development
