Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years in desktop support, covering desktop and laptop hardware, MS Windows 10 and 11, MS Office 2016/Office 365, Azure, mobile devices, and VoIP Phone Services.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical Server Administration experience, including skills in Active Directory and Directory Services, desktop troubleshooting, HP/Dell Server hardware, email systems, Collaboration/Office 365, and knowledge of virtualization technologies.
- At least 3 years in networking and architecture, including WAN/LAN expertise in VLANs, routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, switch and firewall configurations, and network troubleshooting across various vendors.
- Over 2 years of experience with Hypervisors such as Hyper V and VMware.
- Familiarity with SAN technologies and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
- Experience in configuring and structuring databases using Microsoft SQL.
- CompTIA+ and CompTIA Server+ certifications.
- Proficient in resolving issues related to Microsoft Windows, Office/Office 365, and Microsoft Server architecture, as well as WAN/LAN troubleshooting.
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of IT documentation practices to maintain precise records.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong reasoning, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Capability to communicate with clients about their technology needs and offer informed recommendations.
- Proficient in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage issues from inception to resolution, providing comprehensive feedback on causes and solutions.
- Experience working with a ticketing system, delivering timely updates to clients and internal teams.
- Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills.
- Effective project management and time management capabilities.
- Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Willingness to learn and support new technologies, alongside adaptability to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Act as a proactive leader and representative of Infinity Technologies when interacting with clients, ensuring a positive client relationship and exceeding expectations with our teams.
- Mentor IT Technicians, IT Systems Analysts, and IT Senior Systems Analysts by sharing IT knowledge and enhancing customer service skills.
- Serve as a point of escalation for technical issue resolution, providing IT support through various channels, including phone and remote access.
- Identify project planning requirements tailored to client needs and proactively address missing components.
- Deliver internal and external projects within set timelines to ensure client satisfaction, utilizing the Infinity Project Management platform for updates.
- Communicate technical problems and solutions in an understandable manner for diverse audiences.
- Safeguard systems and data at multiple layers, identifying potential vulnerabilities.
- Liaise with vendors for support, design, and incident management processes.
- Execute software and hardware installations, configurations, and upgrades.
- Engage in the planning, design, and implementation of system engineering initiatives.
- Analyze, test, debug, and implement changes to enhance the company or client systems and processes.
- Modify and maintain various operating systems, databases, and utility software.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of system or infrastructure architecture.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation such as site surveys and network diagrams.
- Provide clear documentation for completed projects for stakeholders.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
- Document issues and solutions in the IT Documentation Systems and manage tickets effectively in the Ticketing Systems.
- Offer system architecture consultations to both internal and external parties.
- Conduct data backup services, keeping abreast of emerging technologies.
- Participate in team on-call rotation as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
