Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience in software engineering with production systems
- Proven track record of integrating automation into CI/CD or DevSecOps pipelines
- Practical experience with LLM-based systems or AI-assisted developer tools
- Strong knowledge of human-in-the-loop design principles
- Experience in environments that are regulated, security-focused, or compliance-oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- (Preferred) Background in DoD software factories or defense development settings
- (Preferred) Knowledge in AI-assisted code review, testing, or documentation
- (Preferred) Familiarity with peer review workflows, requirement traceability, or compliance documentation
- (Preferred) Experience deploying AI systems with auditability needs
- (Preferred) Active or previous DoD security clearance
Responsibilities
- Create and implement AI-assisted automation for peer review, testing, and documentation
- Incorporate AI tools into current DevSecOps and software factory workflows
- Establish guardrails and confidence levels for AI-assisted systems
- Ensure that AI systems enhance human decision-making processes
- Assess AI automation for its reliability, risks, and long-term sustainability
- Work collaboratively with software, infrastructure, and security teams
- Document automation designs along with operational constraints
